Preliminary information
Before explaining to you how to block the bot on instagram, let me give you some preliminary information about it.
First of all, you must know that recognizing bots is quite simple, as they are fake accounts without the profile picture, often set as private or, in any case, without uploaded content. In some cases, they also feature a profile bio that invites you to click on forged links designed specifically to scam users.

Block bots on Instagram
Having made the necessary premises, let's see in detail how to proceed to block and possibly report the bots on Instagram, acting through all the platforms on which the well-known photographic social network is available.
Give Android and iOS
If you want to block a bot on Instagram acting from the official app of the social network for Android o iPhone, you must first locate his profile. To do this, for example, if you have been contacted via private messages, click onairplane icon located in the upper right corner (on the main screen of the social network) and you will access the list of all active conversations.
Then locate the conversation started by the alleged bot and tap on his username located at the top, to view his profile. In case you remember his username, you can search for his profile using the search engine directly Instagram (the magnifying glass located below).
In both cases, after identifying the bot profile, tap on the icon (...) located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, tap the button Block twice in a row. In addition, to report it, press the icon again (...) and tap on the items Report ed It is spam, in order to send the report to the social network team.
From PC
You can block and report a bot on Instagram also PC, through the official website of the social network or its application for Windows 10.
To start, then, go to the profile of the alleged bot by clicking on his username, after identifying it through private messages (which you can access through theairplane icon) or directly through the Instagram search engine (the search bar located at the top).
Now, click on the icon (...) and click on the items first Block this user> Block, then back to the button (...) and then on the rumors Report> It's Spam, to also send a spam report.

Give Android and iOS
If you are using Instagram through its official app for mobile devices, you can easily realize if one of the people who have viewed your stories is a bot, always referring to the information I gave you in the introductory chapter of my tutorial.
To get started, then do one swipe down next to the story you uploaded, so you can see the list of people who have viewed it.
At this point, if you detect the presence of a bot, click on the icon (...) located at his username e fai tap sul pulsating Block twice in a row. If you also want to report it, tap on his name, in order to go to his profile, press the icon (...) e seleciona le voci Report> It's Spam.
From PC
You're viewing the list of people who have seen your stories from Instagram da PC? In that case, since the social network's website and its Windows 10 application do not have a shortcut for blocking users directly from Stories, to block a bot you must necessarily click on its username.
After going to his profile, you must then press the icon (...) and click on the items Block twice consecutively, to block the user. To report it, instead, you have to premiere on the icon (...) and then on the wording Report> It's Spam. You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?
