Preliminary information
Before explaining to you how to see who is sharing my posts on instagram, I must make you aware of some information relating to this possibility.
First of all, as already mentioned, you must know that you cannot find out the exact name of the people who share the posts you have published on the famous photographic social network.
But what you can find out is the number of people who share them, taking advantage of the native functionality of Instagram, called Statistics, which shows the number of shares occurred through private messages of the posts published in the Feed.
That said, to be able to do this, you must have made the switch to a professional Instagram account (Creator o Company): this operation is free and reversible at any time and can only be done through the app Instagram, for Android and iOS.
The benefits of this step, plus the ability to access the tool Statistics of Instagram, which also allows you to have information on the progress of your account, are also given by the possibility of promoting your paid posts.
The steps to go through to switch to a professional account are very simple and optionally require linking the account Instagram to a Facebook page.
To get started, then, launch the Instagram, for Android or iOS, go to your screen Profile e premi sull 'icon ☰ located in the upper right corner. Now, in the menu that is shown to you, tap on the item Settings and press on the item Account.
Then tap on the item Switch to a professional account and choose whether to create an account Creator (ideal for public figures, content producers, artists and influencers) or an account Company (best suited for retailers, local businesses, brands, organizers or service providers).
In both cases, to continue, press the button Continue o NEXT, then enter all the required information, such as contact info, for your profile and the category that most represents you (for example Video creator).
Furthermore, optionally, connect your Facebook page, in order to finish the operation. If you have any doubts or problems, refer to my tutorial where I will explain in detail how to switch to a corporate Instagram account.
Once this is done, you can access the tool Statistics for your Instagram account and, following the instructions I am about to give you in the next few lines, find out the number of people who share the posts you publish.
How to find out who shares my posts on Instagram
Now that I have given you all the preliminary information necessary in order to have more information on who shares the posts you publish on Instagram, let's see in detail how to do this, through the social network app for Android and iOS.
Having said that, to get started, log in to your account (if you have not already done so), press onyour profile icon and locate the post for which you are interested in knowing the number of shares. Then tap on it and press on the item View statistical data.
Now, in the new screen that is shown to you, refer to the number indicated in correspondence with the airplane symbol, which shows the number of people who have shared the post you published, sending it as a private message to other users of the social network.
As already mentioned, unfortunately it is not possible to know the name of the people who have shared a content, but only the number of those who have done so. You can repeat this operation only for posts published after switching to the professional Instagram account. THE statisticsin fact, they are not retroactive.
