Add content to existing Stories on Android
add new content to the Instagram Story su Android, first start the official application of the social network on your smartphone and log in to your account (if you are asked to do so). Then tap on the icon of cottage located at the bottom left, in order to view the Instagram feed, and locate the Story you have already created, which should be placed within the section Stories.
Now, do a long tap on yours profile picture (then on the preview of the Story itself), until the button containing the specific option appears in the center of the screen, thanks to which you can add new photos and videos to the Story.
So it is on the voice Add something to your story and, on the next screen, take the photo or record the video you want to add by pressing theanello located at the bottom, towards the center of the screen. Alternatively, use a photo or video that is already present in your device's gallery by tapping on the square located at the bottom left, or select the item Text which is located at the bottom to create a textual story (with the possibility of changing the font using the appropriate button located at the top center).
After taking the photo or recording the video you want to add to your Story, you should see the screen that allows you to add stickers, drawings and decorative texts: then tap on the symbol of the smiling sticker to add a sticker (there are some that are interactive and even allow you to create polls); on the symbol of pen to draw freehand on the photo or video made, or press the symbol Aa to add custom text.
When you are satisfied with the changes made to the content to add to your Story, all you have to do is press the button (+) Your Story (bottom left) and wait for a few seconds for the operation to be completed.
If by chance you find that you have added content to your Story that you did not want to make public, you can delete it by starting the playback of the Story, waiting for the content in question to be played, by pressing the button Other (…) located at the bottom right and tapping on the item Delete present in the menu that appears in the center of the screen. Finally, confirm the operation by pressing the item again Delete And that's it.
Add content to existing Stories on iPhone
If you want add new multimedia content to the Story that you created on your own iPhone, first launch the official Instagram app and log into your account (if necessary). At this point, press the icon of cottage which is located at the bottom left (actually you should already be present in this section of Instagram) and locate your Story, located in the section Stories.
At this point, make a long tap on yours profile picture (or rather, on the preview of your Story), until at the bottom appears the menu containing the option that allows you to enrich an existing Story with new photos and new videos.
So it is on the voice Add something to your story and, in the screen that appears, create the multimedia content to add to the existing Story by tapping on theanello placed at the bottom (center). Alternatively, use one of the photos or videos that are already saved in your iPhone's camera roll by tapping on the square (bottom left), or select the item Text (bottom left) to create a story in text-only format (having the possibility to change font using the appropriate button located at the top center).
In the screen that appears, customize the content of your Story by adding a sticker, an drawing made by hand or the text. To do this, press on one of the three icons located at the top right and, as soon as you are satisfied with the changes made, press the button (+) Your Story to actually add the content to your Story.
Does the method I have just illustrated to you seem a little too "cumbersome"? Well, then try using this "alternative" method to add new content to your Story: view your Story by tapping its preview and, in the screen that opens, presses on the symbol capacitor positive (+) lead located at the top left. Then take a photo or record a video and, when the operation is complete, press the button again (+) Your story (bottom left) to add the new content to your Story.
I specify that this function is currently only present on the iPhone version of the Instagram app and not on the Android one.
If you want to delete a content that you have added to your Story, start playing it again and, when the photo or video you want to get rid of is shown, press the button Other (…) and tap on the item Delete from the menu that appears below. Finally, confirm the operation by pressing the item again Delete And that's it.
Add content to existing Stories on Windows 10
Instagram It is also available in the form of an app for Windows 10 and is compatible with both PCs and tablets equipped with the Microsoft operating system (as well as smartphones with Windows 10 Mobile). To install Instagram on your computer and use it to enrich your Stories, open the Windows Store (the shopping bag icon on the taskbar), search "Instagram" using the appropriate bar located at the top right and download the app by pressing first on its icon (in the search results) and then on the button Get.
When the download is complete, open Instagram on your PC or tablet, log in to your account and view your personal profile by pressing thelittle man located at the bottom right. At this point, press on circle with your photo at the top left to view your Story and, when the photos and videos included in it start playing, click on the button capacitor positive (+) lead blue that you find at the top left (next to your photo).
Now all you have to do is take a photo, shoot a video or select a content from the gallery of your device (by pressing the icon of the photo bottom left), customize it with stickers, drawings or other content (using the appropriate icons at the top right) and go forward.
Finally, put the check mark next to the item Yours Storyclick on your button Send and the content you create (or select) will be added to your Instagram Story.
In case of second thoughts, you can delete photos or videos from your Story by starting their playback by pressing the button (...) located at the bottom right and selecting the item Delete from the menu that opens. Easier than that ?!
