If you wonder how to put the position in the Instagram bio, you must first of all know that, as regards the biography of the profile, Instagram does not provide a native tool useful for adding a specific position, as it is possible to do in the stories of the social network (using the appropriate sticker).
At the time of writing this guide, one of the possible solutions to this need is to manually write the name of the position in which you are, going to modify the section of the Biography of your Instagram profile.
In this regard, you must know that you can succeed in this intent, acting in the same way both from a computer and from a smartphone and tablet and, therefore, both using the app Instagram for Android, iPhone and Windows 10 that by connecting to the Web version of the social network.
To begin, then, start the application of Instagram, by pressing on its icon that you find in the main menu of your device or connected to the official website of the social network using a browser to browse the Internet. Now, log in to your account (if login is not automatic) and press onicona dell'omino or tuo profilo miniature, to go to your profile screen.
Once this is done, to be able to edit the biography, click on the button Modification (Edit the profile from Web) and refer to the box Biography, in which you can write a personalized sentence that, as I explained to you in my other tutorial dedicated to the topic, should summarize your interests and the reasons why people should start following you. However, keep in mind that space is not unlimited and you only have it available 150 characters.
Also, if you wish, you can accompany the city name that you wrote (for example Milan) with emojis. On Instagram some of the most used to indicate a place are the flags emojis or theworld emoji,plane o that of the stylus.

At the end of the customization of your profile, confirm the changes made by pressing the button end or on the one named Send (from Web).

How to put a place in the Instagram bio
An alternative solution, for put the place in the Instagram bio, is to switch to a corporate Instagram account, in order to enter a specific geographical address in the latter.
Usually, this feature is designed for companies that need to be reached by customers in their physical location, but nothing prevents it from being used even by those who do not own a company with its geographical address.
Having said that, to succeed in this intent it is first necessary to have made the switch to an Instagram account corporate. This operation is completely free and brings with it several advantages, including the ability to access the tool Insights Instagram, thanks to which you can view the statistics of your account.
Furthermore, the transition to a corporate Instagram account is reversible and can be carried out at any time, acting through the Settings account, in the app Instagram for Android and iOS. Unfortunately it is not possible to carry out this operation from a computer, by connecting to the official website of Instagram or using the Windows 10 application.
To start, then, log in to Instagram through the app you downloaded on your device. Once this is done, press onicon ☰ located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, tap on the item Settings. Then go to the screen Account and presses on the voice Switch to a professional account.
Now, select the item Company (by switching to an account Creator it is not possible to insert an address in the biography of your Instagram profile), after which the configuration of yours begins account Instagram businessby pressing the button Continue and possibly connecting your Facebook page. Then press on NEXT when prompted, then use the text field Company address, to type the place you want to insert.
You can write a precise address, complete with city e POSTAL CODE or just type the city. Once the customization is complete, click on the button end twice in a row. The address you set will then be visible on your profile screen (the little man icon o the thumbnail of the profile located at the bottom of the app), in correspondence with the section dedicated to Biography.
Also keep in mind that you can change theaddress or the city that you have entered at any time. In this regard, tap on the item Modification, in correspondence with your profile, then, in the next screen that is shown to you, tap on the item Contact options.
Finally, press onaddress or on place previously entered by you, to modify it. To confirm the changes made, click on the button end.
