If you are interested in understanding how to change the Description of your profile, or rather the biography, all you have to do, after starting the app on your smartphone, is to press the icon of thelittle man located at the bottom right of the main screen of the same and tap the button Edit the profile placed on top.
In the new screen that is shown to you at this point, press the item on the adjacent field Biography, delete the current text (if any) and type the description you prefer. In total you have 150 characters available. When the changes are complete, tap on the item end at the top right twice in succession to save the changes.
Privacy
Do you want to take action on the privacy of the Instagram account to make your profile from public to private or vice versa? This can also be done. To do this, after opening the Instagram app on your mobile, press the icon of thelittle man at the bottom right of the screen, then on the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top right of the new screen displayed and, subsequently, presses on the item Settings in the menu that opened.
At this point, if you are using an iPhone, locate the wording Account privacy and, if your account is currently public, bring up ON the switch next to the item Private account to turn it into private. On the other hand, if your account is private, go to OFF the aforementioned switch and presses the button Ok in response to the warning you see appearing on the display.

Your name
And to change the name? How you do it? Nothing could be simpler: to do this, first start the Instagram app on your smartphone and tap on the symbol of thelittle man located at the bottom right, then press the button Edit the profile located at the top of the display.
In the new screen that is shown to you at this point, tap on the field Name, if you wish to change your real name, or on that Username, if you want to change your nickname on Instagram. When the changes are complete, press on the voice end (top right) to have them applied.

Password
Let's see now how to change the Password set for the Instagram account. To carry out the operation in question, first of all start the social network app on your device and press the symbol of thelittle man located in the lower right part of the display. In the new screen that opens, tap the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top (always on the right) and select the item Settings give the menu check if you press.
Press, therefore, on the wording Password that you find attached to the section Account, then fill in the field Current Password with your current password and those New password e Repeat the new password with the new password you want to set. Then presses on the voice Save (top right), to save the changes applied.

Style
If you wish, you can also change it style of viewing your Instagram profile, which, I want to specify, will only affect the way you see your profile: others will continue to view it as usual, unless they themselves set up a type of view different.
To do this, start the Instagram app on your mobile, tap thelittle man which is located in the lower right part of the screen and, once you have viewed your profile, choose how to view the content published on it by pressing the appropriate buttons that you find under the section dedicated to highlighted content.
Based on your personal preferences, you can press the button with the grid to enable the default display of photos and videos or on the one with the central square and the top and bottom lines to enable viewing in feed mode.
Further changes
If you need to make further changes to the profile by, for example, editing the link to your personal website and the telephone number associated with the account, you can do this by starting the Instagram app on the device, pressing the button with thelittle man bottom right, on the button Edit the profile placed at the top and acting on the additional fields visible on the screen. To confirm the changes applied, presses on the item end top right.
If, on the other hand, you want to intervene on the activity status, you want to view the data relating to your account, etc., press the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top right of the screen, then on the item Settings in the menu that opens and intervene, as you think is most appropriate, on the various options on the next screen.
Company profile
If you are interested in understanding how to turn your Instagram account into a company profile, start the Instagram app on your device, press the symbol oflittle man located in the lower right part of the displayed screen and tap the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top (always on the right), then select the item Settings give the menu check if you press.
Scroll, then, the new screen displayed, select the item Switch to a company profile che trovi in corrispondenza della sezione Account, award-winning Continue and follow the wizard that is proposed to you on the screen to finalize the operation.

Edit Instagram profile from computer
And from a computer? How do you change the Instagram profile using the application of the well-known photo social for Windows 10? Let's find out right away.
Profile picture

At this point, fill in the fields Your name and / or Username typing, respectively, your name and your username and confirm the changes made by pressing on the item end top right. And voila!
Password
And what about the Password? How can it be changed? Easy: start the Instagram application on your PC, click on the symbollittle man at the bottom right and then on the button with thegear at the top (always on the right) of the newly displayed screen.

Further changes

Edit your Instagram profile from the web
Now let's try to understand how to change the Instagram profile by acting from Web version of the famous service, accessible from any browser. You will find everything explained in detail below.
Profile picture
If you want to change the profile picture, first of all connect to the home page of the Instagram Web version and log in to your account by filling in the appropriate fields on the screen. Next, click the button with thelittle man located at the top right and presses the button Edit the profile that you find at the top.
On the new page that appears, click on the link Change your profile picture e seleziona l'opzione Upload photos from the menu that opens. Then select the photo you want to use from your device and it's done. If, instead of changing the photo, you just want to remove the one currently in use, select the option Remove current image from the aforementioned menu.
When the changes are complete, press the button Send located at the bottom of the page dedicated to profile changes to confirm and apply the changes.
Description
If you wish to change the Description of the profile, after logging in to the web version of Instagram, click on the button with thelittle man located at the top right and presses the button Edit the profile that you find at the top.
At this point, fill in the field adjacent to the entry Biography as you see fit (you can use a maximum of 150 characters) and save the changes made by pressing the button Send located at the bottom. That's all!
Privacy
If you are then going to change the privacy of your account, setting it from public to private or from private to public, proceed as follows: log in to the Web version of Instagram, click on the button with thelittle man located at the top right and click the button Edit the profile that you find at the top.
Adesso, select the dicitura Privacy and security on the left, then check the box Private account that you find on the right, under the heading Account privacy, to make your account private. If you want to make it public, remove the check and click on the button Ok in response to the warning that appears on the screen.
Your name
Let's see now how to modify the name and nickname. In both cases, first log in to the web version of Instagram, then click on the button with thelittle man placed at the top right and presses the button Edit the profile that you find at the top.
At this point, intervene on the fields Your name and / or Username going to modify, respectively, your real name and / or your nickname. Then proceed to save the changes made by clicking on the button Send located at the bottom.
Password
If you need to change the Password of your account, to begin with, log in to the web version of Instagram and click on the button with thelittle man located at the top right. Next, click the button Edit the profile located at the top of the new page displayed.
Now, select the item change Password located on the left, fill in the field Old Password with the password currently in use and those New password e Confirm the new password with the password you want to use. Then click on the button Change your password located further down to save the changes.
Further changes
Do you want to carry out further changes to the account by changing, for example, the email address associated with it or other information relating to the same?
