Of course, if you have second thoughts, you can always retrace your steps: to succeed, you will have to go back to Settings> Privacy> Account Privacy, move on ON the switch lever next to the wording Private account and confirm the operation by tapping on the item OK. Easier than that?
iPhone
If you want to remove the private profile on Instagram by acting on yours iPhone, know that you have to follow practically the same procedure that I indicated in the chapter on Android. Even in this case, in fact, you have to go to the Instagram settings and remove the privacy setting that makes the profile private.
To proceed, therefore, start the official Instagram app and log in to your account (if necessary). Then tap on the symbol oflittle man placed in the lower right corner (or on the thumbnail of the your profile photo, in case you have added multiple accounts in the app), tap the button (≡) which appears to be located at the top right and selects the item Settings from the menu that appears laterally on the right.
Pray fai tap sulla voce Privacy, select the dicitura Account privacy found in the section Contacts (bottom) and move up OFF the lever of the switch which is placed in correspondence with the wording Private account. To confirm your intentions, reply later Modification to the question You want to change the privacy present in the box that appeared in the center of the screen and that's it.

You currently don't have your smartphone handy and would like to know how to proceed from computer? I'll explain it to you right away! Basically you have two "paths" that you can take: act from the Web version of Instagram, then directly from the browser, or use the Instagram application for Windows 10. The choice is yours!
- Instagram Web - connect to the Instagram login page, log in to your account, click on thelittle man located at the top right and then presses the button Edit the profile located next to your username. Now, on the page that opens, select the item Privacy and security from the sidebar on the left, uncheck the box Private account (in the menu Privacy and security) and confirm the operation by clicking on the button OK in the box that opens. If you have second thoughts, to set the account as private again, click on thelittle manclick on your button Edit the profile, select the voice Privacy and security, tick the box Private account And that's it.
- Instagram for Windows 10 - after launching the Instagram app for Windows 10 and logging into your account, click on thelittle man located at the bottom right, click on the symbol ofgear located at the top right, in order to access the screen options Instagram and scroll through the list of options located in the box on the left. Then move up OFF the lever of the switch located in correspondence with the item Private account (in the section Account) And that's it. In case of second thoughts, to set the account as private again, go to the screen options of Instagram and move to ON the switch lever located next to the item Private account.
