How to update Instagram Stories on Android

How to update Instagram Stories on iPhone
A iPhone, know that the procedure required to update Instagram on your phone is not that different from the one I showed you in the chapter on Android. Also in this case, in fact, it is possible to “manually” update the app of the photographic social network and / or activate automatic updates in order to always have the latest version available.
To check if any updates are available for Instagram, first open theApp Store pressing the blue icon depicting the "A”Stylized that is present on the Home screen of your device and then tap the button Updates (l'icona della freccia rivolta verse il basso located at the bottom right). If there are new updates available for the Instagram app, you should see its icon in the open screen with the button next to it Update: press on it and wait a few seconds for the download to complete.
If you are reading this tutorial directly from your iPhone, you can update the Instagram app simply by tapping on this link and, in the App Store screen that opens, by pressing the button Update (as long as a new update is available).
If, on the other hand, you want to make sure that automatic app updates are activated, including Instagram, all you have to do is go to the iOS settings, check that they have not been deactivated and, if necessary, reactivate them. Then start the app Settings pressing the gray icon depicting the gears which is present on the Home screen of your iPhone, tap on the item iTunes Store and App Store from the screen that opens and make sure that the switches located in correspondence with the items App e Updates are both moved to ON (otherwise you can do it yourself).
I also recommend that you move on OFF the switch lever located in correspondence with the wording Use cellular data, to avoid downloading updates using the active data plan on your SIM: by doing so, the updates will only be downloaded when the iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. How to update Instagram Stories on Windows 10
You have installed Instagram on your PC Windows 10? Well, then I suggest you update the app of the photographic social network in this case too, so as not to miss the latest functions implemented in the Stories and also use them from desktop. As we have seen for the previous platforms, you can update both "manually" and automatically: let me explain how to proceed.
To manually update the Instagram app, open the Microsoft Store by clicking on the shopping bag with Microsoft logo present in the system tray or menu Home, presses the button (...) posto in alto a destra and selects the voice Downloads and updates from the menu that opens. If there are new updates for Instagram and for all other applications installed on your PC, press the button Download updates / Retrieve updates And that's it.
To check that the automatic updates function is activated on your PC, instead, after pressing the button (...) located at the top right, select the item Settings from the menu that opens and moves up On the lever on the option Update apps automatically (as long as it has been deactivated).
How to use new Instagram Stories effects and features
If you've updated the Instagram app following the directions I gave you in the previous chapters, chances are you can use the latest features introduced in Instagram Stories (if this is not the case, you have to wait for the update to take place on the server side, as I already told you at the beginning).
Usually, when Instagram launches a new feature, it "announces" it to its users by publishing a new Story that describes its use. To view it, just log in to your Instagram account from Android, iOS or Windows 10, press the symbol of cottage located at the bottom left and open the Instagram Story by pressing the logo of the photographic social network at the top.
After verifying the existence of new functions for Instagram Stories, you can finally use them to "embellish" the content you want to share with your followers: press, therefore, on the symbol oflittle man located at the bottom right, tap the blue button capacitor positive (+) lead located on your profilo's photo, select the photo you want to share or take one at the moment, press the symbol of sticker and use any new stickers available. Then do the same thing regarding the function drawing (l'icona della pencil located one high) e text (the button depicting the letters Aa) and, as soon as you are ready, publish the story by pressing the button The tua storia.
