If you want change theme on Instagram and use Android, you must first know that the dark theme of the app is only available on terminals equipped with Android 9.0 or later.

Besides the activation of the dark theme there are other possibilities that you can consider, to change the theme on Instagram: I'll give you more details about it in the next chapters of this guide.

If you want change the instagram chat theme and, consequently, give a touch of color to the messages you send and receive to closest friends you have selected on the photo social network, you can use the app Threads da Instagram, downloadable on Android from the Play Store (or from alternative stores) and on iPhone from the App Store.
To start, start the app in question and, first of all, choose the friends with whom you want to keep in touch, putting a check mark on their names, to add them to the list of closest friends. After that, press the button Continue and you agree to all the requests that are shown to you, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the app.
At this point, after adjusting some basic functionality of the app relative to being able to set one state custom, you will be shown the section Temi through which you can customize the color of the app Threads and, consequently, that of the messages received and sent.
For example, applying the theme Alba, you will give the app and messages a color in shades of orange. after finding the one you prefer, press the button end, to apply it.

Another solution that I want to tell you about, to help you in the intent to customize Instagram, is the use of third-party apps that allow you to create aesthetically appealing images and / or videos to be published in post and in stories quickly and easily, also thanks to the use of predefined themes.
Such apps, such as Adobe Spark Post (Android / iOS / iPadOS), canva (Android / iOS / iPadOS), Unfold (Android / iOS) and Made (Android / iOS) - all free in their basic versions, with additional content unlockable via in-app purchases - all allow you to create captivating stories and posts from predefined themes.
Using apps of this type is quite simple since, taking the app as an example Adobe Spark Post, once installed and registered, just find the template to use and press the button Remix this model, to change it. By doing so you can use the multimedia editor, in order to customize the colors, to add text, animations, images, icon and much more, using the appropriate buttons. Once you've finished editing, you can save the image to your device memory (down arrow icon) or share it directly on Instagram in Feed or in the Stories.
